was the beginning of summer...
a cool WadAsian breeze swept across the land, cooling the common folk that
worked in the fields and on the battlegrounds...
The WadAsian high counsel had hired the finest grounds keepers to tend to
the new battlefield...
4000 lawn artists hunched over and groomed each individual blade of grass
to perfection, for these blades of grass were to be stepped upon by the
King and by the other warriors that ruled thy land...
Trumpets blared every hour on the hour, and each of the townsfolk would
stop their activities and gather around the Kings chamber window at the
center of the courtyard...
They would stare up at the red velvet drapes moving in the wind, hoping to
catch a lucky glimpse of the King... Sadly, most were left disappointed, for
the King had not done much lately, especially fight.
'Twas about noon... There was a blast of light that blanketed the sky to
the east... and a blinding light that covered half the sky...
Descending from atop the clouds flew a jewel adorned chariot led by two
enormous winged serpents...
These serpents tore through the sky as an armored figure lashed at them with a
long spiked whip...
The warrior within the chariot growled and hissed at the serpents
compelling them to go faster as they stretched their bodies across the
clouds and toward the King's castle....
Roaring toward the courtyard and causing widespread panic among the
spectators, Sir Jeffulot made his usual radical entrance and stepped
quietly down from his decorative chariot.
As the spectators observed from a miscalculated "safe distance", Sir
Jeffulot brushed himself off and clanked his way over to the King's window.
The two serpents began to feed on a few of the unsuspecting spectators that
were closer than they had realized... a wonderful mid-day snack to enjoy
while waiting on Sir Jeffulot's return.
"Draven!!" Sir Jeffulot growled up toward the window... "Show yourself!" he
demanded, as he drew his sword, causing a ring to echo throughout the
courtyard....
"I... Challenge thee!!!!!!" he stated as the crowd gasped in surprise...
"I will crush him, and I will be King" he stated to the crowd as he flung
his sword about...
He asked that a message be delivered by the crowd when the King decides to
emerge from his slumber.... "Tell him... Tell him that I will defeat him,
and we must battle on the new Q3 battlefield!"... he said as he gestured
toward the newest and most beautiful of battlefields... "Tell him that
Thursday night at 10:00pm shall be the time...."
Sir Jeffulot strutted back toward his chariot, patted the serpents upon
their heads, and wielded his whip once again...
Tearing off into the distance, he was heard reciting an old poem he had
written in his youth that had expressed his adoration for his rocket
launcher...
At last.... WadAsia was to erupt again into death, destruction and
mayhem... and with a new leader....
